January 28, 2024.  Five Mile Creek Greenway — newly opened portion of BMRR Cain (Cane) Creek Branch going west from former trail end at Republic Road (County Road 67) north of Watson, Alabama, extending within the city limits of Brookside, and ending at the Newfound Creek (New Found Creek, Newfoundland Creek) ravine in which formerly was located the highest (when built) wooden railroad trestle in the United States — Interpretive Walking Tour on BMRR roadbed.  Temple Circles/Villages Temple Beth-El and Temple Emanu-El Historic Walking Tours.  Michael Sznajderman, leader.  James Lowery, assisting.

December 17, 2023.  High Ore Line Trail — Interpretive Walking Tour on former Tennessee Coal, Iron, and Railroad (TCI) roadbed, Birmingham History Walk — Temple Circles/Villages Temple Beth-El and Temple Emanu-El Historic Walking Tours.  NOTE: The trail is not on the former BMRR roadbed, but its southernmost trestle passes over the BMRR North Branch which is still active CSX tracks.  Michael Sznajderman, leader.  James Lowery, assisting.
